Hi there,

There is few guideline to follow before building audio flash briefing skill :

For audio content items

  • An audio item must contain a HTTPS URL to audio content.
Important: HTTPS is required for stream URLs.
  • The audio content should be 256kbps mono or stereo MP3.
  • Content should not exceed 10 minutes in length.
  • Program loudness for Alexa should average -14 dB LUFS/LKFS.
  • The true-peak value should not exceed –2 dBFS

Your skill may be rejected if program loudness:

1) Is lower than -19 dB LUFS

2) Is higher than -9dB LUFS

check here for more details.

It looks like there are a few items wrong with your feed. Be sure to review the API docs at https://developer.amazon.com/docs/flashbriefing/flash-briefing-skill-api-feed-reference.html

  • The pubDate format is incorrect. It should be yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'.0Z'
  • The Content-Type on your feed is text/xml. It should be application/rss+xml

There is one more thing not found in the documentation. Based on answers in this forum, you cannot use Let's Encrypt SSL certificates on your feed or on your audios.
