Prefer user-specific or device specific context?

Hi, My Scenario is as follows: Between users and devices there can be an m:n relation. this means more people could you the Alexa-enabled device. Additionally users, who use one device, might also use another device, which is located somewhere (kind of a shared device) Does the Alexa user/device relationsship some specific features such as personalization? So should I make the user specific device authorization available at all devices, which they use? Or is Alexa use on one device the same, regardless, who and how many people might talk to it? If useful I would use the user-specifc Alexa access token to every device, which they use. Kind regards, Daniel

Hi Daniel, Thank you for your interest in Alexa. Yes, it is possible for multiple users to share the same Alexa device. It can be accomplished by using a Household Profile. You can read more about it here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201628040 It is also possible for a single user to own and use multiple Alexa devices. The right way to do it is for the user to register each device with their account. Does this answer your questions? ~ Gautam
