As many of you have probably realised, from those who are still waiting, like me, that there's a high chance we're not getting accepted till after Q4. My guess is because then some of the new people would be eligible to tier up during Q4 and that would add to the demand.
My idea was, that for there to be an okay situation for both parties, that those who get accepted during Q4, can't tier up until Q1.
The reason for this is, some designers (maybe me, maybe not, good is subjective at the end of the day) are good or even awesome, and have killer designs ready for the next few holidays, like Halloween and Christmas. They've shown their portfolio when they applied, so it should be easy, or obvious at least, to know which designers would add profits to Amazon and which ones wouldn't, to know which ones are dedicated enough to keep designing and to see what the market needs and wants. By accepting people, but not allowing them to tier up until Q4 is over, it gives them an opportunity to show Amazon that they have designs that sell, while at the same time not using a lot of listing space (only ten per user).
I've been following a few MBA groups on social media, and I've seen some of the designs that some people have ready and it would simply be a shame if they weren't able to post them on Amazon, as it's a better and more rewarding market than sites like Redbubble and Teespring.
This is just a thought that came to me while designing a few Christmas designs and remembering a few others that I've soon form fellow artists and designers.
