I find it really disappointing that Amazon is treating Germany and Austria as the same. From a user endpoint I'm always annoyed to have the daily facts and information based on german data.
E.g. Alexa tells me to cheer for my (German) team at sports events or prefers to tell me about polls in Germany over Austria – or lists skills (especially in the Flash Briefing) from Germany further on top as it's more widely used. As an Austrian I don't care too much about news from Germany (especially regional stuff).
In addition, as a developer you distinguish between US and UK but not DE and AT – there's also subtle differences in the German and Austrian version of german, so if that's the only difference between US and UK, there's should be a possibility to create Austrian skills – to also allow to promote Skills in an Austrian section and not in a DeAt section.
I mean there's AT_CITIES but everything is still in the German (DE) section. Makes me feel like a 2nd-rate citizen for Amazon…
