Feature Request - Idea to Reduce Pixel-For-Pixel Design Theft

Would it be possible to lower the resolution of the MBA product page preview to deter pixel-for-pixel image theft? The lower the quality, the less likely thieves are going to successfully auto-trace the image in a vector illustration program. At the very least it would force thieves to actually re-create the design instead of having an application batch trace in bulk - which could be a powerful deterrent.

In our opinion, having such high resolution images for t-shirt designs is overkill, and we feel a reduction in the preview size would greatly reduce design theft.

It sounds like a good idea. But customers appreciate a high resolution preview. I think the problem is the mock up that amazon uses to preview their shirts. It is too plain and easy to raster or trace. So, I would say, Why not using a more realistic mock up that shows some wrinkles and shadow?. If you try to raster or trace a realistic mock up it also traces the wrinkles and shadow, which means a lot of job for the thief.

Watermarks are the only way to go. Not sure why Amazon is refusing this. Been telling this for 2 years since fleas of copycats started buzzing! :@
