What does choosing “All Other Android Devices” do? What happens if I don't?

Summary:

While selecting “Device Support” under the “Binary File(s)” tab of your app update submission, at the bottom of the expanded “Non-Amazon Devices” section, you will have the opportunity to choose future device support for your app.

If you enable “All Other Android Devices” (toggle the switch to green), this means that after manifest filtering, your app will be available on all non-Amazon devices that it is compatible with. This includes devices that are not explicitly listed in the “Non-Amazon Devices” section. When new devices are added to the “Non-Amazon Devices” section, your app will automatically be made available on these devices if your app’s manifest is compatible.

If you disable “All Other Android Devices” (toggle the switch to gray), this means that after manifest filtering, your app will only be available on the non-Amazon devices you have already selected. When new supported devices are added to the “Non-Amazon Devices” section, your app will not be automatically made available on these devices, even if your app’s manifest is compatible.
