If you have found this knowledge base article that most likely means its Tax Season! Your year-end tax forms are now available for download online in the Merch by Amazon Tax Dashboard. To securely download your forms, follow the steps below.
1. Log into your Merch by Amazon account
2. Click “My Account” followed by “Tax Information”
3. Click the “Update Tax Information” button
4. Scroll to the “Year-end tax forms” section
5. Click the “Find Forms” button
6. Click “Download” on the form that you wish to download
7. From here you will be able to preview the file or save it to your computer
If you consent to go paperless, you will receive an email notification when your form is available. Tax year 2016 Form 1099 will be available on or before January 31, 2017. Tax year 2016 Form 1042-S will be available on or before March 15, 2017. Updates made close to the filing deadline may not take effect until the next filing year.
If you provide consent to go paperless, you may revoke this consent at any time by returning to update your delivery preference.
